About me
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am not native Russian, but please, give me a chance to introduce myself, and read my resume and cover letter.
I have been working more than 6 years as a journalist specialized in socio-political situation in Russia. My articles were printed in the biggest Polish newspapers and translated by Russian Inosmi.ru and other Russian websites, including military ones. In the Batory Foundation I was an author of many analysis dedicated to Russia. During my internship in Russia, I prepared monthly reports on human rights violation and travelled to Russian regions collecting data for my research and sending order analytical articles to Poland.
In my academic research, I focus on the socio-political role of the Russian media, including traditional and new media, innovative web political projects and civil journalism.
I devoted my entire professional career and knowledge to Russia. I believe that with my expertise and post communist Slavic country background, I could make valuable contribution to the quality of your work and bring new perspective.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you to discuss my application further.
Yours sincerely,
Jakub Benedyczak
